I was astonished to find out that many music lovers in Eastern Europe were not familiar with the pioneers of the music of their countries, and particularly the legends of yesteryears. And this is very alarming. This is why this book is important because in addition to giving exposure to living artists and/or contemporary ones, it offers the readers an opportunity to get acquainted with outstanding singers, legends and pioneers who are still living but faded in their memory.
